The hardened cutting wheel will leave a sharp and distinct line in soft and hardwood both with and across the grain.
Solid Brass head is 1-9/16" diameter by 1-3/16" tall.
The knurled thumb screw is also solid brass and securely locks the head to the beam holding measurements while you mark across your piece.
The head is countersunk so the cutter can be fully retracted protecting it when not in use.
Cutter is 7/16" in diameter.
The cuter can be easily sharpened by rubbing the flat surface in any sharpening media/stone.
Replacement cutters are also available.
The hardened steel beam is 0.31" in diameter and 8" long.
Metric and Imperial measurements allow easy setting of the gauge and extend to 150mm or 6".
This tool has excellent mass and weighs in at 6 ounces. This wheel marking gauge will provide years of accurate and reliable performance in the shop.
