The Bourbon Moth KM Tools Universal Table Saw Jig, a collaboration between Jason Hibbs of Bourbon Moth and KM Tools, is an exceptionally versatile tool that may be the only jig you'll ever need.

Originally conceived for cutting raised panels, this jig's capabilities have expanded significantly. Its vertical angled arm allows for the precise cutting of challenging joinery such as lap joints, bridle joints, and tenons on your table saw. The face plate, which lifts up by 1.125 inches, makes flush trimming face frames, edge banding, and cutting vertical dados or rabbets incredibly simple.

The included t-track runner enables the black hex ply body to transform in a horizontal jig. This allows for conversion to a crosscut sled, a horizontal angled joinery sled, or a tapering and straight-line ripping jig, simply by removing the face from the fence slider.

The jig comes flat packed with all the hardware. You will receive a simple video and written assembly instructions prior to shipment. Constructed from 100% birch plywood with a hex pattern phenolic film, the main 17.25” x 17.25” face plate offers superior protection against abrasion, moisture, and chemicals. Integrated T-track ensures effortless and secure workpiece clamping at any vertical angle.

Further enhancing its utility, the L-fence attachment is ideal for jointing, flush trimming,  straight line ripping, miter joints, horizontal rabbets, dados, and grooves. For perfect, repeatable splines, simply add the spline jig attachment. The included T-track runner also allows you to detach the main face plate, transforming it into a highly effective crosscut and angled joinery sled.

The arm can be mounted in either orientation and moved around the jig. This allows for achieving any repeatable angle or supporting large panels by utilizing the alternative holes located at the front and rear of the jig.

This jig is designed to be compatible with most table saw fences that are 3 inches or less in height.

NOTE: Before purchasing, verify that your table saw fence has two flat, parallel faces that are unobstructed at both ends. Some stock jobsite saws, including those from DeWalt and SawStop, may not meet these requirements.

Jonathan’s Hot Take

When Jason first showed me this design, I knew we had to make it available to everyone. After months of designing, testing, and iterating, I’m so stoked to make this available to you guys. 

I love how easy it is to cut basically any joint that’s normally impossible or incredibly dangerous on the table saw. The large melamine face plate with T-track makes it super simple to do complex cuts. To put it to the test, Jason and I made an entire box with mitered joints and splines using only his table saw and this jig.

And because the faceplate is an exact square, you can reference off any edge to set your angle.
