90 Degree Crosscut Guide
Clear so you can see your lines through the jig
8:1 is typically used for hardwoods
Comes with a KM Tools Sticker
Guides you through all the Dovetail Steps with ease and accuracy, while cutting the learning curve substantially. The Katz-Moses Magnetic Dovetail jig is made in a mold from a virtually indestructible clear polyurethane for years of use. This is the same material used to make pool balls so you know how strong the jig is. It is then laser etched on the top and bottom for clean and easy to read labeling. The magnets have 10 lbs of pulling pressure to hold your saw firm to the jig. It also functions as a 90 degree crosscut guide which is a unique feature to the Katz-Moses Magnetic Dovetail Jig.

Cut 4 joints to try system out. Worked well. Tip to use slight rabbet gives neat interior corners. Wood dust and glue works better than any purchased filler. Had to buy Japanese dovetail saw as my splined dovetail saw did not have blade depth needed with these guide blocks. They work!
tried other saw guides but this one has all the features you need to do a great job.
So helpful. I made beautiful dovetails with my handsaw on the third attempt. Not too bad. Still a small learning curve. But would be a huge learning curve without the jig! Highly recommend.
I cut my dovetails with a 10 degree teeth cut blade so your 8 degree jig doesn't work for me. However, your 90 degree side of the jig is extremely useful.
Started using this and am amazed how useful and the variety of uses. Great tool.
