The PEC flexible rule is made of hardened and tempered steel, but it’s still flexible enough to measure slightly rounded or curved objects. It has a satin chrome finish with photo-etched, black-filled 4R graduations (8ths, 16ths, 32nds, and 64ths).

All good rulers have photo-etched indices, and PEC is no exception. This makes it super simple to set your marking gauge, dividers, or knife line. The satin chrome finish with black-filled graduations is easy on the eyes, making measurements a breeze.

And just a note—while these rulers are flexible enough to measure curved surfaces, they’re still hardened steel. Don’t expect one of those rubber bendy rulers you carried in grade school.
