Zen-Wu PalmBlade Multi-Edge Utility Tool

Sale price$227.00
Material:Titanium + Magnacut
Quantity:

The Zen-Wu PalmBlade is a marking knife, double-sided skew chisel, and a chisel plane—all in one. Its design allows you to create crisp clean lines, pare tenon shoulders, trim edges, and scrape glue squeeze-out from inside corners.

Every PalmBlade is hand-finished and is available in either Zen-Wu’s proprietary ZW-C1 white paper steel laminated with brass, or Magnacut laminated titanium alloy. (Holy @#%* does that dovetail look cool - JKM)

The PalmBlade can be used in either your left or right hand. Each one comes with an ultra bougie heirloom quality leather case that allows the blade to slide in fast without cutting it or poking through. Clip it to your belt, shop apron, or pocket so it’s always at the ready.

Dimensions:

  • Length: 5 ½”

  • Thickest width at bevel: ¾”

  • Thickest width at handle: 1 ¼”

Jonathan’s Hot Take:

I wasn’t planning to add another knife to my massive collection, but Zen-Wu left me no choice. This little dude is so handy, and the fact that I can use it with either hand makes it super versatile at the bench. I find it especially helpful for cleaning up small inside corners on boxes. Plus it is so ergonomic. It fits nicely into your hand, and the machined lines on the side allow me to keep the flat back pressed against a surface and slide into really hard to reach areas, getting things perfectly flat. It’s like a marking knife, paring knife, chisel, and chisel plane all in one.

Holy Toledo, do the two dovetailed metals look ridiculously cool too. Had to say it one more time for those in the back.

And the little leather pouch it comes with isn’t just some throw away accoutrement. They’ve put just as much care into the pouch, making sure it won’t self-destruct after repeated sheathing and unsheathing. Leave this bad boy clipped to your apron at all times. You’re gonna use it more than you ever expected, and it will be a tool you pass down to your grandchildren.
