The PEC feeler gauges are made from tempered and hardened carbon steel. Blades are straight with a .5” width, and each one is marked with its corresponding thickness. Blades are secured to the case with a locknut, which can be loosened to remove or replace blades.

Pro Tip: Feeler gauges are called that for a reason—you can literally feel the drag as you slide the gauge between objects. Too thin, and the gauge will slip through with no resistance. Too thick, and the gauge will become stuck. To increase your accuracy, make sure you insert the gauge as straight as possible without angling to the side.
